Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health and Portland, Ore.-based Oregon Health & Sciences University Partners have signed a nonbinding letter of intent to pursue an affiliation.
The agreement would integrate Adventist Health – Portland with OHSU's clinical enterprise under the direction of OHSU Partners.
The parties hope to finalize the agreement by the end of the year, according to OHSU officials.
Adventist Health – Portland healthcare network consists of a 302-bed medical center, 34 clinics and various home care and hospice services across the Portland/Vancouver area, according to the report.
OHSU Partners, created in 2015, oversees the direct clinical programs of Salem (Ore.) Health, OHSU Healthcare and Hillboro, Ore.-based Tuality Healthcare.
