New York City-based NYU Langone Health and Patchogue, N.Y.-based Long Island Community Hospital signed an affiliation agreement, the hospital networks said July 6.
Under the deal, which needs regulatory approval, the two organizations will come together to expand, enhance and clinically integrate their healthcare networks.
"Today's agreement publicly confirms our confidence that an affiliation will allow both of our institutions to collaborate and share best practices to better meet the healthcare needs of the communities we serve," said Robert Grossman, MD, dean and CEO of NYU Langone Health.
