Northern Westchester Hospital Pursues Partnership With North Shore-LIJ Health System

Mount Kisco, N.Y.-based Northern Westchester Hospital has signed a letter of intent to enter into exclusive partnership talks with North Shore-LIJ Health System in Manhasset, N.Y, by the end of the year.

Under the agreement, North Shore-LIJ will supply NWH with resources that will allow it to provide more efficient care while reducing costs.

"We are excited to be taking this first step toward becoming partners and we look forward to working closely with the hospital's leadership team," said Michael J. Dowling, president and CEO of North Shore-LIJ, in a news release.
