Rocky Mount, N.C.-based Nash Health Care has sent a request for proposal to five major health systems looking for an affiliation agreement, according to a Daily Southerner report.
Nash Health Care sent RFPs to Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System, Greenville, N.C.-based Vidant Health, Chapel Hill, N.C.-based UNC Health Care, Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System and Norfolk, Va.-based Sentara Healthcare.
According to the RFPs, an affiliation agreement would center around expansion of patient services and partnership with Nash Health Care's revenue cycle, patient satisfaction and physician recruitment efforts. Nash Health Care executives are not looking for a full-scale merger, according to the report.
