Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare Health System acquired Immediate Clinic Seattle (Wash.) Dec. 11.
Under the terms of the agreement, MultiCare will acquire 14 Immediate Clinic locations in the Puget Sound region.
Officials from both institutions began discussions regarding the potential acquisition in September.

"MultiCare is dedicated to expanding access to these healthcare access points through a growing network of locations in King, Pierce, Thurston, Snohomish and Kitsap counties."
