Michigan women's health center sells for $43.5M

A Florida real estate investment firm purchased Grand Rapids-based Women's Health Center of West Michigan, a four-story, 106,806-square-foot medical building, for $43.5 million, according to MLive.

The building is currently leased by Detroit-based Metro Health's OAM Surgery Center and the women's health center. Both organizations will continue to lease space within the building.

The complex is located along the city's "Medical Mile," which also hosts the Spectrum Butterworth Hospital, Meijer Heart Center, Helen DeVos Children's Hospital, the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion, the Van Andel Research Center and Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine.

The sale reportedly closed Dec. 7, 2016, according to the article.
