Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Mednax will acquire a Henderson, Nev.-based private ophthalmology practice.
The practice, Bruce E. Synder, MD, PLLC, specializes in ophthalmology services to pediatric and adult patients. It serves 11 hospitals and three surgery centers in the Las Vegas area.
The transaction was an all-cash acquisition. The exact monetary amount was not disclosed.
The ophthalmology practice is Mednax's fifth physician practice acquisition thus far in 2017.
