Oxford, Ohio-based McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital's board of directors voted to begin the formal process of investigating potential affiliations, preferably with a larger healthcare system.
According to the release, the hospital would like to remain a strong healthcare provider. For this reason, it is pursuing options now, so it may maintain a position of financial strength and best prepare for future changes and challenges.
"We also intend to remain a local organization with skilled and dedicated employees and physicians committed to our mission and service in the greater Oxford community," said Bryan Hehemann, president and CEO of McCullough-Hyde Memorial.
