Three major healthcare organizations — LifePoint Health, MultiCare Health System and UW Medicine — have partnered to create Embright, a new clinically integrated network in the Pacific Northwest.
The network will consist of 14 hospitals, more than 6,500 providers and 600 outpatient sites of care from Tacoma, Wash.-based MultiCare, Seattle-based UW Medicine and the Western Region of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health.
Embright, headquartered in Seattle, aims to improve the quality and affordability of healthcare.
Christopher Kodama, MD, who most recently served as president of the ACO MultiCare Connected Care, will serve as Embright's president and CEO.
The network is exploring opportunities in shared savings and shared risk models.
