Hospice of Wilson (N.C.) Medical Center will transition its ownership and management to a joint venture created by Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health and Lafayette, La.-based LHC Group, according to The Wilson Times.
Officials said the ownership transition will not affect the facility's staff, services or quality of care.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
LHC Group and LifePoint Health embarked on a joint venture agreement in November 2016.
