Kennedy Health System in southern New Jersey and Los Angeles-based RadNet announced the launch this week of Garden State Radiology Network, a medical imaging joint venture.
The joint venture will increase access to diagnostic imaging services in southern New Jersey through a network of outpatient imaging locations. The initial network will be comprised of Kennedy's outpatient imaging facilities, RadNet's Haddon Heights, N.J.-based facility and two recently acquired Able Imaging facilities in Turnersville, N.J. and Marlton, N.J.
The joint venture already has plans to expand in the area by building and acquiring additional imaging centers.
