Miami-based Jackson Health System has unveiled the details of a $1.4 billion construction and capital improvement plan, according to a South Florida Business Journal report.
The construction plan involves over 200 projects, including the construction of a $117.4 million rehabilitation hospital and a $40 million pediatric ambulatory care center.
Jackson CEO Carlos Migoya said the board is in general agreement with the plan, and it will be voted on in stages for the individual projects.
