Brooklyn-based Revival Home Health Care will operate Peninsula Hospital in Far Rockaway, N.Y., and has extended an $8 million line of credit to the hospital to keep it open, according to a New York Daily News report.
The struggling hospital is reportedly $60 million in debt and will file for bankruptcy as part of its plans for restructuring, which are being led by Revival. In August, MediSys, the former operator of the hospital, decided to withdraw from the hospital.
