Hutchinson (Minn.) Health's board of directors declared their intent Sept. 13 for the organization to affiliate with Bloomington, Minn.-based HealthPartners.
Under the proposed transaction, 66-bed Hutchinson Health will retain its name and continue to be locally governed.
The organizations expect to finalize the transaction in 2018.
