A division of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare sold a 65-bed long-term acute care hospital to a Dallas-based specialty hospital operator.
Cornerstone Health Group acquired the facility from HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center's North Tower for an undisclosed sum.
Cornerstone, which operates 18 specialty hospitals in the U.S., plans to rebrand the facility into a specialty hospital that it will fully operate.
HCA purchased the hospital from Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare in 2017.
