HRMC, part of Adventist HealthCare in Rockville, Md., announced it was exploring options for a strategic affiliation in May. The medical center is continuing its current affiliation with Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center for certain specialty services but is pursuing an additional affiliation for continued service growth.
St. Louis-based Ascension Healthcare Network, Hackensack (N.J.) University Health Network and Atlantic Health System in Morristown, N.J., have submitted bids to Adventist HealthCare.
According to the report, the bidding process is ongoing, and no date has been set for when an entity will be chosen.
