Glens Falls (N.Y.) Hospital has signed a memorandum of understanding to become a member of Queensbury, N.Y.-based Adirondack Health Institute.
By joining the institute, the hospital is becoming part of a regional collaboration including Saranac Lake, N.Y.-based Adirondack Health, Community Providers Inc. (also known as Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital) in Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Hudson Headwaters Health Network, also based in Glens Falls.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to participate," Dianne Shugrue, president and CEO of Glens Falls Hospital, said in a news release. "Our collaboration with this group reinforces our commitment to providing the utmost quality of care to the patients of our region — whether those patients need primary, diagnostic, rehabilitative or inpatient care. We are honored to join the planning, outreach and collaboration these organizations have been focusing on."
