Glendale (Calif.) Adventist Medical Center in Verdugo Hills, Calif., may acquire or merge with Verdugo Hills Hospital, also located in Glendale, according to a San Fernando Valley Business Journal report.
The deal is intended to bring together 457-bed GAMC and 158-bed Verdugo Hills to "create a shared healthcare system to meet the needs of our local communities," said Glendale Adventist CEO Kevin Roberts in the report.
Both organizations confirmed talks.
