Albany, Ga.-based Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and Augusta, Ga.-based MCGHealth Children's Medical Center have formed a partnership, according to a news release.
The partnership will provide Phoebe Putney with pediatric hospitalists and nurse practitioners and plans to eventually add board-certified physicians and pediatric nurse practitioners for children's services.
Phoebe Senior Vice President and CMO Doug Patten, MD, said the new arrangement is a "triple partnership" that includes the two healthcare organizations and local pediatricians, according to the release.
