Three leadership changes were made in the healthcare merger division at the Federal Trade Commission, a director with the agency wrote in a blog post Jan. 29.
Michael Moiseyev, the current assistant director responsible for overseeing healthcare mergers, will be replaced by Dan Zach, who will serve as acting assistant director overseeing the Mergers 1 division, according to the post from Ian Conner, the FTC's competition bureau director.
Mr. Moiseyev will move to a role with the agency's chairman.
Lynda Lao, a staff attorney in the healthcare division, was promoted to acting deputy assistant director of Mergers 1.
"We in the bureau are very excited about these promotions, and we are very fortunate to have such a strong pool of talent at the commission from which to choose our leadership," Mr. Conner wrote.
