Community Health Systems, which acquired Youngstown, Ohio-based Forum Health in Oct. 2010, has announced it will layoff 81 employees at the three-hospital health system, according to a Business Journal Daily report.
Most of the layoffs will occur at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown and will primarily affect workers in Forum corporate positions that are duplicated by Community Health Systems, according to the report.
The reductions will affect approximately 3 percent of the health system's workers and include union and non-union employees.
