Florida Hospital Partners With Israel Medical Center for Research

Orlando-based Florida Hospital, an eight-hospital system, has signed a memorandum of understanding for an international collaboration with Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer in Israel, according to a Sheba news release.

The partnership is research- and education-focused. Areas of collaboration under discussion include multi-specialty robotic surgical training, medical simulation, patient safety, stem cell transplant clinical strategies, pediatric palliative care and hospice research, oncology research and more.  

Sheba is a university-affiliated tertiary referral hospital and one of the most comprehensive medical centers in the Middle East.
