Cookeville (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center has signed a letter of intent to acquire Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Tenn., according to a Herald-Citizen report.
According to the agreement, Cumberland River would continue to provide services and access to care in the Celina area while Cookeville Regional would add specialists and specialty care.
The acquisition is expected to be completed by May 1.
