Conway Regional Health System partners with CHI St. Vincent

Conway (Ark.) Regional Health System has entered into a five-year management agreement with Little Rock, Ark.-based CHI St. Vincent.

Under the agreement, Matt Troup, vice president of ancillary and support services for CHI St. Vincent, will become CEO of Conway Regional.

Regarding the agreement, Chad S. Aduddel, CEO of CHI St. Vincent, said, "We have committed to work together in new and innovative ways to make care more widely available, enhance the quality and safety of the care delivered and to reduce the cost of care. With this agreement in place we know that Conway Regional and CHI St. Vincent can lead the way for other healthcare systems in the state."

Along with their partnership, CHI St. Vincent and Conway Regional also announced the formation of a new corporate entity called the Arkansas Health Alliance. The purpose of the alliance is to help independent community hospitals and health systems lower their costs while improving quality of care. Jim Lambert, CEO of Conway Regional, will lead the Arkansas Health Alliance.
