Community Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater, Mich., has narrowed its list of strategic partners to three, according to an article from The Daily Reporter.
CHC, a hospital licensed for 102 acute-care beds, selected Community Health Systems in Franklin, Tenn., Bronson Healthcare in Kalamazoo, Mich., and Sparrow Health System in Lansing, Mich., as its final potential suitors. CHS is a for-profit system, while Bronson and Sparrow are both nonprofits.
During the next several weeks, all three health systems will visit CHC to conduct further negotiations. No timeline was given for when CHC would make a decision.
