Englewood, Colo.-based Centura Healthcare is joining Phoenix-based Banner Health and University of Colorado Hospital as the latest suitor to lease Memorial Health System in Colorado Springs, Colo., according to a Colorado Springs Gazette report.
Centura's deadline to indicate interest in the Memorial deal was yesterday. So far, these three systems have indicated their interest, while four other local hospitals or systems said they would not participate.
Fort Collins, Colo.-based Poudre Valley Health System is forming a joint venture with University of Colorado Hospital and is placing its bid through that entity.
Requests for proposals are slated to go out Monday and final proposals are due by Nov. 14.
