Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems is delaying the launch of Quorum Health Corp. — a spinoff that includes 38 hospitals and Quorum Health Resources, a hospital management, advisory and consulting business.
CHS announced plans in August to create QHC, a move intended to strengthen CHS' focus on larger markets. CHS originally planned for QHC to be independent by the end of March, but CHS pushed that date back on Thursday.
