Union Hospital, a 72-licensed bed facility in Elkton, Md., has joined Newark, Del.-based ChristianaCare.
Under the agreement, made official Jan. 1, Union Hospital's parent company, Affinity Health Alliance, and all of its subsidiaries are now part of ChristianaCare.
Union Hospital is ChristianaCare's third hospital. It joins Christiana Hospital in Newark and Wilmington (Del.) Hospital.
Union Hospital will be renamed to ChristianaCare, Union Hospital.
