Englewood, Colo.-based Centura Health has taken over operations of 26-bed Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses, Kan., according to The Hutchison News.
Under an affiliation agreement, St. Catherine Hospital — a Centura facility located in Garden City, Kan. — will provide Bob Wilson Memorial with administrative, operational and other support, according to the report.
"We are excited to build upon Bob Wilson's strong legacy and collaborate to advance the value of healthcare for the community served by the hospital," said Gary Campbell, president and CEO of Centura Health, in a news release quoted by The Hutchison News.
Although Centura will run the hospital's operations, the facility will remain county owned, according to the report.
With the addition of Bob Wilson Memorial, the Centura network includes 17 hospitals.
