Butler (Pa.) Health System and Ellwood City (Pa.) Hospital have announced a five-year management agreement, effective July 1.
Under the agreement, Ray Beck, ECH president and CEO, will become a member of the BHS executive team. He will continue his primary responsibilities at ECH, which will maintain its board of trustees and independent governance structure.
According to the report, the transition process is underway.
