Brooklyn Hospital Center affiliates with Mount Sinai

The Brooklyn (N.Y.) Hospital Center has become a clinical affiliate of The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and an academic affiliate of The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

The Brooklyn Hospital Center — a 464-bed community teaching hospital — has more than one million residents in its service area, and by integrating with 1,171-bed Mount Sinai, the medical services available to Brooklyn residents will be expanded.

"We are proud to partner with The Brooklyn Hospital Center on delivering even more advanced and specialty care options for our patients," said Arthur Klein, MD, president of the Mount Sinai Health Network. "The Brooklyn Hospital Center will be an important partner as we work together to transform the delivery of healthcare in our state."
