Madison, W.Va.-based Boone Memorial Health is set to acquire Family Life Pharmacy assets and a pharmacy building.
Once the transaction is closed, the current Family Life Pharmacy will reopen as BMH Comfort Pharmacy. All current employees will be rehired, the system said in a news release.
The purchase is an extension of Boone Memorial's outpatient clinic it operates in Comfort, W.Va. Family Life Pharmacy will continue to be managed by co-owner and director Stephanie Massey, RN, when it becomes BMH Comfort Pharmacy. She also will lead the BMH Comfort Clinic.
The deal was expected to close Aug. 18, and the facility was expected to reopen as BMH Comfort Pharmacy on Aug. 21, according to the release.
