Cincinnati-based Bon Secours Mercy Health is selling 15 acres of the shuttered DePaul Medical Center's property in Norfolk, Va., The Virginian Pilot reported March 16.
The sale includes the 817,180-square-foot main facility, a 48,000-square-foot building and a 39,054-square-foot building. Two buildings on the property are not for sale, according to the Pilot.
The price for the property is negotiable, Matt Crawford, Bon Secours vice president of real estate and ambulatory facilities, told the Pilot. The city assessed the value of the main building as more than $93 million in 2021, according to the newspaper.
The hospital closed in 2021 because of low patient volume.
