Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital officials are seeking a strategic partner with the possibility of entering into an acquisition or merger, according to a South Florida Business Journal report.
Officials said the 400-bed hospital's board of directors formed a steering committee to evaluate proposals from various health systems.
Boca Raton Regional Hospital President and CEO Jerry Fedele said regardless of its affiliation prospects, the hospital will remain a nonprofit, according to the report.
