Memphis, Tenn.-based Baptist Memorial Health Care is partnering with Knoxville, Tenn.-based Priority Ambulance to provide quicker, more efficient emergency transportation services between the health system's various locations, according to EMS World.
Under the partnership, the organizations will collaborate on a critical care pediatric ambulance program to transport young patients to their various physicians' and specialists' offices. Priority Ambulance will also oversee, manage and staff the health system's ambulances and streamline the dispatch process by establishing a centralized dispatch center.
The financial terms of the transaction, if any, were not disclosed.
