Chicago-based Presence Health is selling Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center.
2. St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center, Lewis County General to Partner
St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, N.Y., and Lewis County General Hospital in Lowville, N.Y., agreed to enter exclusive negotiations for a potential affiliation.
3. Steward Health Care System to Merge Two Hospital Campuses
Steward Health Care System, based in Boston, announced plans to merge two of its hospitals.
4. Partners HealthCare, South Shore Hospital Merger Postponed
Boston-based Partners HealthCare System agreed to delay the closing of its proposed acquisition of South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, Mass., to allow for the extension of negotiations with the state attorney general's office.
5. CHS Agrees to $475M Munroe Regional Lease Deal
Community Health Systems, based in Franklin, Tenn., signed a definitive agreement to enter into a long-term lease of Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Fla.
6. Jefferson Health System Splits Corporate Structure
Jefferson Health System, based in Radnor, Pa., decided to restructure, which will result in its three main entities — Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, its flagship based in Philadelphia, Main Line Health, a four-hospital system based in Bryn Mawr, Pa., and Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia — splitting and managing their own finances.
7. Community Health Center of Branch County Selects 3 Potential Suitors
Community Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater, Mich., has narrowed its list of strategic partners to three: Community Health Systems in Franklin, Tenn., Bronson Healthcare in Kalamazoo, Mich., and Sparrow Health System in Lansing, Mich.
8. Saint Anthony's Health System to Affiliate With OSF Healthcare
Saint Anthony's Health System in Alton, Ill., signed a letter of intent to become an affiliate of Peoria, Ill.-based OSF Healthcare System.
