ValleyCare Health System, based in Pleasanton, Calif., signed a letter of intent to affiliate with Stanford (Calif.) Hospital & Clinics.
2. East Orange General Hospital, Prospect Medical Holdings Reach Partnership Agreement
East Orange (N.J.) General Hospital and Prospect Medical Holdings, a for-profit hospital operator based in Santa Ana, Calif., signed a definitive partnership agreement.
3. Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center, Banner Health Enter Into Collaboration Agreement
Show Low, Ariz.-based Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center entered into a collaboration agreement with Phoenix-based Banner Health.
4. SUNY Ends Long Island College Hospital Negotiations With Peebles
State University of New York officials ended negotiations with the real estate investment and development firm Peebles Corp. concerning the purchase of Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y.
5. Ochsner Health to Manage St. Charles Parish Hospital
New Orleans-based Ochsner Health System and St. Charles Parish Hospital in Luling, La., announced an intent to expand their strategic relationship, under which Ochsner would provide management services to the 59-bed community hospital.
6. Pioneers Memorial, El Centro Regional Consider Affiliation
Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District in Brawley, Calif., and El Centro (Calif.) Regional Medical Center approved a memorandum of understanding to consider a possible affiliation.
7. Erlanger Health System Board Approves Affiliation Agreement With UT
Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Erlanger Health System approved a new affiliation agreement with the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
8. AtlantiCare, Geisinger Health System Sign Definitive Agreement
AtlantiCare in Atlantic City, N.J., signed a definitive agreement to become a member of Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pa.
