CMS granted preliminary approval for Lincoln County Healthcare, based in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, to merge its Boothbay critical access hospital, St. Andrews Hospital, into Miles Memorial Hospital located 30 minutes away in Damariscotta, Maine, while retaining its critical access status.
