The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit issued a major decision within the hospital sector last week, as it backed the Federal Trade Commission and ordered Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica to unwind its acquisition of St. Luke's Hospital in Maumee, Ohio.
4. HCA May Acquire Australian Hospital Operator
Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America is one of three potential buyers of Healthscope, Australia's second-largest private hospital operator with 33 hospitals.
5. Sanford Health Agrees to Manage Liberty Medical Center
