2. Lenoir Memorial Hospital announces plans to partner with Novant Health
Lenoir Memorial Hospital, a community hospital in Kinston, N.C., plans to partner with Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health.
3. Banner, University of Arizona Health Network merger gets the go-ahead
The University of Arizona board of regents unanimously approved a merger between Phoenix-based Banner Health and University of Arizona Health Network in Tucson.
4. Abington Health, Jefferson University Hospitals sign definitive agreement to merge
Abington (Pa.) Health and Philadelphia-based Jefferson University Hospitals reached a definitive agreement to merge into a new organization, led by Steve Klasko, MD, president and CEO of Jefferson.
