Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic and Grand Forks, N.D.-based Altru Health System have formed a contractual relationship, according to an Altru news release.
Although Mayo Clinic and Altru already had a long-standing relationship, the agreement formalizes their collaboration.
The contractual relationship will provide Altru with greater access to Mayo physicians and clinical resources, including evidence-based disease management protocols, clinical care guidelines, treatment recommendations and reference materials for complex medical conditions.
Mayo Clinic and Altru will continue current collaborations, such as Mayo physicians traveling to Altru to provide pediatric and cancer services.
