Englewood, Colo.-based Centura Health and Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center in Salida, Colo., have signed an affiliation and services agreement to expand services to the community, according to a Centura news release.
Improving access to care for the surrounding communities is one of the major goals of the affiliation, as 70 percent of Colorado counties are rural or frontier. Through the partnership, Centura Health and HRRMC will develop shared programs for cardiology, stroke, spine and trauma and will share best practices among clinicians.
