Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyo., is taking the first steps toward creating a statewide accountable care organization, according to a Star-Tribune report.
According to WMC's CEO Vickie Diamond, the hospital will begin exploring the feasibility of a statewide organization to improve care and reduce costs.
WMC and the Wyoming Hospital Association will host a meeting with officials from other hospitals Nov. 11 to explore the possibility of the ACO.
