University of Tennessee Health Science Center's UT Medical Group and Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare, both based in Memphis, are is talks to form a large physician group, according to a Commercial Appeal report.
UT Methodist Physicians, as it will be called, would allow UTHSC and Methodist to further align clinical services. UTHSC and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital launched a pediatric group together in 2010; the new group will focus on adult services, according to the report.
