Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan Health System has added two medical practices to its Pioneer accountable care organization.
The new physician practices are Packard Health and Deborah Peery, MD. Packard Health includes four physicians and two locations in Ann Arbor, and Dr. Peery provides care in Saline, Mich.
"We are very glad to welcome the Packard Health physicians…and Dr. Peery to our ACO, and know they will help us continue to improve care for more Medicare beneficiaries than ever before," Timothy Peterson, MD, MBA, medical director of the ACO and professor of emergency medicine at the UM Medical School, said in the release.
