A recent survey reveals a majority of patients, more than three out of every five, feel they receive the best care from their primary care physician.
Specialists received 16 percent of the vote, hospitals 13 percent and urgent care 3 percent.
Responding to another questions, nearly 40 percent of those polled said stronger communication between physicians would improve their care experience. Others said more appointment availability and better access to medical records would likely improve their healthcare experience.
GfK Roper for Practice Fusion, which provides free web-based EMR software to physicians, conducted the survey.
