Nutley, N.J. and Clifton, N.J.-based Seton Hall-Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine has named three associate and assistant deans, according to The Setonian.
Miriam Hoffman, MD, was named associate dean of clinical medical education. Dr. Hoffman has previously served as a member of the LCME Curriculum Committee at Boston University School of Medicine.
Keith Metzger, PhD, was named assistant dean of undergraduate medical education and learning strategies. He has helped with the development and implementation of medical education programs at East Garden City, N.Y.-based Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine and New York City-based Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Kate Sheppard was appointed assistant dean of student affairs and welfare. She has previously led the accreditation process of 10 Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education programs at Detroit-based Children's Hospital of Michigan.
The medical school's Office of the Provost announced the appointments in an email on Sept. 7.
