Miami-based Exigent Med Group announced the launch of its Web-based directory of cash-friendly physicians, labs and diagnostic imaging centers, according to South Miami News.
The website, SelfPayMD.com, is meant to help self-pay patients and foreign patients find board-certified physicians in south Florida who accept cash. Patients are guaranteed appointments within 14 business days for a standard $99, with the option to pay more for quicker access. Patients prepay fees with a credit card, according to the report.
Physicians are able to participate by paying a monthly subscription fee.
