New York City-based NYU Langone Health has tapped Hye-Chun Hur, MD, to direct gynecology services at NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn.
Dr. Hur, who specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, will also serve as vice chair for faculty development in the department of obstetrics and gynecology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, according to a March 28 news release.
In her new roles, she will focus on improving equitable access to gynecologic surgery and oversee the development of a minimally invasive gynecologic surgery program.
She joins NYU Langone Health from Columbia University Medical Center, also based in New York City, where she served as an attending physician and associate program director of the hospital's minimally invasive gynecologic surgery fellowship.
Dr. Hur earned her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City.
