Kirk Kerkorian Medical Education building at University of Nevada, Las Vegas hosted a ribbon cutting on Oct. 5, The Nevada Independent reported.
The $125 million, 135,000-square-foot building has been credited as a critical medical infrastructure investment for the region, the report said. The university hopes to tackle the severe physician shortage in the area.
The Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine has graduated two classes after receiving full accreditation last year.
